The Willing Dragon

Once upon a time, there was a little dragon. The dragon loved to fly around a little city where it lived. It would help the villagers to keep the sheep and livestock safe, and to keep villains and thieves out.

One day, a night in shinning armor rode into the village. The citizens all came into the town square to see what was going on. The knight only asked for a place to stay, which the villagers gladly gave.
As he stayed, the knight began to question the villagers on the dragon. "Where does the dragon stay?" He asked the barber. "Where does the dragon stay?" he questioned the tailor. Little by little, his questions and opinions began to be thought by all.

"The dragon eats our sheep!!" the baker whispered to the butcher.

"I've heard his breath can burn down our whole town!" The tailor would exclaim.

People began to mistrust the dragon, and began to stay away from him. Meanwhile, the dragon continued in his service.

The knight finally convinced the city of the dragon's evil, and together they created a mob. that night, the citizens snuck into the dragon's home. The dragon looked up at the people he loved.

He didn't try to fight back.

The knight's sword ended him in a single blow.

The Turtle in the Shell

Once, there was a beautiful turtle. Like most turtles, it had a hard start. Seagulls and other dangers lurked from the moment it was born. At an early age, it learned that staying in its shell was the safest place for it to be. Soon, it was in its shell more than it was our, hiding from prospective dangers. It hid from humans, birds, and even other turtles. The turtle began to doubt itself as no one gave it praise. Little did the turtle know, but if it had come out of its shell more often, it would have be praised by many turtles.

Time passed, and the turtle stayed in its shell, traveling only what was necessary .

One day, the turtle was on a beach eating grass. The tide had gone down as it was eating, and the water was a good distance away. The turtle, being afraid of the change in distance, hid in its shell.

A few days later, a different turtle came onto the land and found the shy, scared turtle. But it was too late.

The turtle had been cooked by the hot sun.
